Portrait Photographer • Makeup Artist • Creator of The Camera Cure™

About Me
I’m Carmen Wong Fisch — a portrait photographer & makeup artist with over two decades of experience helping people look and feel like their most confident selves.
Before I ever picked up a camera, I stood in front of one. I began my career as a print model represented by the Ford Modeling Agency, working with fashion and beauty teams across North America and Asia. Those early experiences taught me something essential: being photographed can feel vulnerable — but when someone helps you feel at ease, it becomes empowering.
That insight shaped the foundation of my work. I created The Camera Cure™, a fun, guided approach that helps even the most camera-shy people feel comfortable, confident, and radiant in front of the lens. My philosophy is simple: when you feel good, you look powerful — and that energy shines through every image.
I studied Fashion Design & Marketing at Ryerson University in Toronto and later worked behind the scenes as a makeup artist, wardrobe stylist. My sense of refinement was deepened during my time at Hotel Les Trois Rois — an environment that taught me the beauty of precision, service, and timeless elegance. Every skill and influence I’ve gathered comes together in my studio — a calm, creative space where elegance meets authenticity.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me outdoors on long walks — walk and talk is my favourite therapy. I’m originally from Hong Kong and Toronto, a cat lover with a spicy food addiction, and I guard my mom’s secret XO sauce recipe like treasure. I love cooking, playing piano, and have recently fallen in love with lifting weights. I share life with my teenage daughter and my amazing husband — who also happens to be a photographer.
